Title The relationship between silica sesquioxide ratio and the weathering of soils in pavements
Author Kiek, SN (Snowy Mountains Hydro-Electric Authority)
Abstract In this paper an account is given of the relationships between the ratio of silica to the sesquioxides in the one micron fraction of soils and various parameters based on soil properties indicative of weathering. These relationships are evaluated on a statistical basis. The statistical expressions arrived at are applicable within the experimental limits on which they are based, viz soils used in pavements in the snowy mountains area.
